The
Fat Man and I went camping at Jenny Jump for Memorial Day and a few friends
joined us for a very short hike (so no rating).
We ended up
at this pond that was completely covered in lotuses or would the plural be lori I just Googled this (grammar queen that I am) and both are correct.
I
felt like Dorothy in the field of poppies.
We had never seen so many of these beautiful flowers at one time.
It all felt quite magical.
Although I would not have wanted to fall into the pond. Too much algae.
That evening, we continued the magic with special copper salts that you put in the campfire, which makes it change colors. There were a lot of oohs and ahhs.
